Knowledge Engineer
MailGate SC is looking for a talented Knowledge Engineer to join our remote team and growing business. MailGate Message Protection Lab team is responsible for keeping the MailGate anti-spam protection up to date. We are analyzing millions of emails a day, producing filters, performing tests, monitoring all processes, and assuring every single customer is protected and satisfied. .
This is a remote position, but the candidate would ideally be based in Sofia, Bulgaria to meet in-person with the team when needed.
Responsibilities:
- You will participate in updating anti-spam filters by finding and evaluating spam patterns (text or URL) using regular expressions.
- We will train you to provide a thorough analysis of message flow and content.
- You will gain experience working in a team and solving real-life problems.
Qualifications:
- Excellent command of English language.
- Second language would be considered an advantage.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML.
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Analytical skills and proactive thinking.
- Practical experience in an international job assignment is an advantage.
- University degree in IT/Engineering/Information Systems completed or in progress is an advantage.
